The Blas F Ople Policy Center & Training Institute
The Blas F. Ople Policy Center and Training Institute (Ople Center) is a non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and accredited with the Commission on Human Rights and the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT). The Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Foreign Affairs, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, and other IACAT-member agencies are active partners of the Ople Center in its advocacies for migrant workers’ rights and welfare.
The NGO is named after and draws inspiration from the late Senate President and Foreign Affairs Secretary Blas Fajardo Ople, who has gained national acclaim as the Father of Overseas Employment and the Father of the Philippine Labor Code.

The Ople Center’s Vision is for every OFW family to be happy, to have a better quality of life, and have more opportunities at home.
Mission
The Ople Center mobilizes partnerships to build the capacities of public and private sector stakeholders and sustain innovations in policies and practices that would benefit Filipino migrants and their families.
