Ople Center, IBP and Rotaract Club of Malolos, Bulacan to give free legal aid to trafficking victims

ONE AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING – On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the Blas F. Ople Policy Center and Training Institute headed by Ms. Susan “Toots” Ople (seated from left), in partnership with Atty. Purificacion Bartolome-Bernade and Ms. Julianne Marie Mapalad, presidents of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Gat Marcelo H. del Pilar (Bulacan Chapter) and the Rotaract Club of Malolos, Bulacan, respectively, raised the No. 1 sign to signify their united stand against human trafficking during the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held at the new IBP Office in Bulacan last Aug. 22. Under the MOA, the three parties agreed to conduct free legal aid for trafficking victims and paralegal training for volunteers.  Witnessing the ceremony were (standing from left to right) Atty.
