The project is implemented in partnership with Arbeiterwohlfahrt International, e.V. (AWO International) Regional Office-Southeast Asia, and was launched on September 1, 2021. It aims to strengthen detection mechanisms to screen overseas Filipino workers, who are leaving through illegal and unsafe situations in various levels by revising protocols for detection, increase access to ethical recruitment channels, establish digital referral windows for trafficking and illegal recruitment cases, enhance legal, reintegration and after-care services for severely exploited migrant workers in politically and economically volatile areas.

The BARMM ICMS Sub-Portal is envisioned to: 1) Retain and mirror the functionalities and features of the ICMS; 2) Enable BARMM users to establish confidentiality/privacy settings that restrict access of non-BARMM users; 3) Link and refer cases within BARMM and with other ICMS users; 4) generate analytic reports exclusive to BARMM users
